A passenger car caught fire on Steklozavodskoye Highway in the municipal district of the town of Bor. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Nizhny Novgorod region.
The flames covered an area of about 5 square meters. Five firefighters promptly arrived at the scene; they quickly contained and extinguished the fire.
According to preliminary information, the fire may have been caused by a technical malfunction of one of the vehicle's components.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Rescuers remind drivers: have your vehicle serviced regularly, pay attention to any malfunctions in the vehicle's operation, entrust repairs only to qualified specialists, and always keep a working fire extinguisher in your car.
