The driver of a foreign car rammed into six parked cars in Afonino.

      06 November 2025 17:21 Incidents — In the Kstovsky District, traffic police officers detained a man who damaged six cars at once. The incident occurred late in the evening on November 5 in the settlement of Afonino, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      At about 23:55 the driver of a Volkswagen struck several parked cars. Traffic police officers promptly arrived at the scene and detained a 38-year-old man who had been behind the wheel of the foreign-made car.

      The suspect was taken to a police station. He is currently being held in a facility for administrative detainees.

      Administrative reports were drawn up against the driver for refusing to undergo a medical examination for intoxication and for disobeying a lawful order of a police officer.

      Law enforcement agencies are now establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

      Earlier it was reported that a 70-year-old woman driving a "Tank" fatally struck a man on the roadside in the Urensky district.
