      The lead role of investigator Terekhov in the crime series "After Fisher. The Inquisitor" (18+) will be played by actor Alexander Petrov, who will join previously announced cast members Yulia Snigir and Polina Gukhman. The series will be released exclusively on the Wink online cinema (a joint venture of Rostelecom and NMG).

      "After Fisher. The Inquisitor" became a continuation of the popular franchise and joined the Wink Originals lineup ("Slovo patsana. Blood on the Asphalt" (18+), "Kombinatsiya" (16+), "Ballet" (18), "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears. Everything Is Just Beginning" (16+) and others). The series is produced by the film company KEYSTONE PRODUCTION on commission from NMG Studio. Executive producers are Fyodor Bondarchuk and Dmitry Tabarchuk, and the director is Olga Frenkel.

      According to the plot, the body of a local official’s daughter is found in a small Altai town on the edge of the taiga. It soon becomes clear that the murder is linked to an unsolved series of crimes by the infamous Barnaul maniac. The investigation is taken up by local detective Belova and investigator Terekhov from Barnaul. They realize that all versions and clues mysteriously lead to a mysterious Mowgli-like girl who grew up in the taiga.

On the contrary, the more responsibility there is, the more interesting it becomes for me. That is one of the aims of the profession — it is always connected with challenges. Today there are opportunities to create spin-offs, universes and, so to speak, practically from scratch make viewers fall in love with new characters, immerse themselves in their stories, live with them, follow them and eagerly await each new episode every week."

      "Fisher" premiered in February 2023 and became the most popular original Wink series at that time. The first season of "Fisher" recently won at the Italian Onirica Film Festival in the "Best Series" category. The follow-up "Fisher. Eclipse" premiered in May 2025; by the end of the third quarter the project became the most popular Russian series (according to the Kinopoisk Pro index).
