In the village of Zeletsino in the Kstovsky District a new modular feldsher-obstetric station (FAP) has been built. The facility was solemnly opened on November 6, 2025, with the participation of the head of local government Ivan Ulanov, acting chief physician of the Kstovo Central District Hospital Anastasia Knyazeva, medical staff from the Kstovo Central District Hospital, and village residents.
According to the regional Ministry of Health, the construction and equipping of the new FAP were carried out in the shortest possible time. The building was erected as part of the implementation of the primary care modernization program of the national project "Healthcare," with about 8 million rubles allocated for these purposes.
The FAP has been provided with all the conditions for delivering primary pre-doctor care to the rural population, conducting medical screenings and preventive examinations, and diagnosing and treating diseases within the feldsher’s scope of practice.
According to Anastasia Knyazeva, the new feldsher-obstetric station will serve about 400 residents of the village of Zeletsino, more than 50 of whom are children and adolescents. Medical care for residents will be provided by young feldsher Kristina Knyazeva.
The feldsher’s workplace is equipped with a landline telephone as well as a computer with Internet access and the region’s unified digital medical platform. Among the equipment and furniture purchased for the FAP are a tonometer for measuring intraocular pressure, a spirometer, a colposcope, a glucometer, an electric heating blanket, a sterilizer, a defibrillator, a gynecological chair, an anti-HIV kit and an anti-shock kit.
As Ivan Ulanov noted, the new FAP is connected to the power grid, central water supply and sewage system. The medical facility has a diesel generator that can be used in case of power outages. A parking area for vehicles has also been provided.
"The village of Zeletsino has been actively developed and settled, but since 2009 there has been no medical facility here, which caused inconvenience for residents. Therefore today's opening of the FAP is a joyful and long-awaited event. The regional executive authorities and the district administration have tried to create all the conditions so that patients' stay here is comfortable and medical care is provided at the highest possible quality," emphasized Ivan Ulanov.
Recall that in 2025 Russia launched a new national project, "Long and Active Life." It is a continuation of the national project "Healthcare" and is being implemented on the instruction of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. The new national project covers all areas of work in the sector — from modernization of primary care to rehabilitation.
