An attack by 20 Ukrainian UAVs was repelled in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Twenty Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down over the Nizhny Novgorod region last night, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

      According to the agency, between 23:30 on November 3 and 07:00 on November 4 on-duty air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 85 enemy UAVs. The largest number — over the Voronezh region (40).

      Over the Belgorod region 10 "birds" were shot down, over Kursk — 6, over Lipetsk — 4, over Volgograd — 2, over Bashkortostan — 2, and over the Saratov region — 1.

      Earlier it was reported that since 2 a.m. on November 4 the "Kover" plan has been in effect at Nizhny Novgorod airport. The airport is not accepting or releasing aircraft.
