Residents of Nizhny Novgorod's investment infrastructure can assess its effectiveness.

      Residents of Nizhny Novgorod’s investment infrastructure are being invited to take a survey to assess its effectiveness. The region’s investment infrastructure includes the Kulibin special economic zone, territories of advanced development, technoparks, business incubators and industrial parks. Improving the quality of work with investors and supporting them have been included since 2025 among the objectives of the national project “Effective and Competitive Economy,” initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

      Business surveys are conducted on an ongoing basis. According to interim survey results, over the course of this year the majority of respondents gave a positive assessment of the work of Nizhny Novgorod’s investment infrastructure.

      According to Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, companies can evaluate criteria such as the completeness of information, accessibility of locations, the range of services and the support measures provided to residents. Enterprises can also submit proposals to improve the operation of the region’s investment infrastructure.

      “These elements of infrastructure ensure the investment attractiveness of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, so it is important that they operate effectively and help entrepreneurs develop. Online surveys are an important tool for dialogue with business that allow us to regularly receive ‘feedback’ from the entrepreneurial community,” said Maxim Cherkasov.

      The survey can be taken at any convenient time on the Nizhny Novgorod Region’s investment portal.

      As a reminder, to ensure comfortable conditions for investors in the region, by order of Governor Gleb Nikitin the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation has been operating since 2018. The Corporation works on a “one-stop shop” principle, supporting entrepreneurs at all stages of investment project implementation.       According to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the national project “Effective and Competitive Economy” will become the main tool for forming a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development and the development of the state system of statistics and forecasting.
