Millions of rubles will be spent on ice-resurfacing machines for the arena at Strelka.

      Four electric ice resurfacing machines will be purchased for the future ice arena at Strelka in Nizhny Novgorod. This is reported on the public procurement website.

      Seventy-four million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The customer is LLC "Ice Palace". The auction is scheduled for November 1, 2025. Applications to participate are accepted until October 30.

      The equipment must be delivered no later than December 15, 2025. Each machine is valued at a maximum of 18.5 million rubles.

      Under the terms of the contract, the warranty on the equipment must be at least two years from the date of its transfer. Mandatory maintenance must be carried out annually or after 400 hours of operation.

      Recall that construction work began in 2022. It was previously reported that the arena's opening is expected in 2025, but the exact date has not yet been announced. As of the beginning of October, the facility was about 96% ready.
