A criminal case has been opened in the Nizhny Novgorod region following an inspection of preparations for the heating season. This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia.
Specialists from the supervisory authority found more than 46,500 violations during preparations to switch on the heating. More than 25,000 orders were also issued.
In connection with the discovered violations, 112 criminal cases have been opened in 30 regions of Russia, including Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Kostroma and Samara regions. The prosecutor’s office continues its inspections.
