
A reliquary with the relics of Saint Tikhon will be brought to the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

A reliquary containing a particle of the relics of Saint Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow, will arrive in the Nizhny Novgorod region on November 17. This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolia.
With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', the shrine will visit all four dioceses of the metropolia.
The first stop will be the Cathedral of Saint Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Nizhny Novgorod. The reliquary will begin its stay there on November 17. In the churches of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese the shrine will remain until December 22.
The reliquary will then go to the Gorodets Diocese. The faithful will be able to venerate Saint Tikhon there until January 10, 2026. From January 11 the shrine will be in the Vyksa Diocese. It will remain there until January 31. The reliquary’s journey will conclude in the Lyskov Diocese, where it will be present from February 1 to 13.
Recall that a reliquary containing a particle of Saint Tikhon’s relics has already been brought to Nizhny Novgorod. At the end of May 2025 it was at the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral on the Strelka.
