The fare for suburban buses will change in the Gorodetsky District.

      17 October 2025, 10:20 Society — In November, fares for travel on suburban buses on municipally regulated routes of the Gorodetsky District will change. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional tariff service of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      According to the information provided, the cost is planned to be increased from 5 to 5.2 rubles per passenger-kilometer.

      The initiative to revise the prices comes from JSC "Gorodetsky Passenger Motor Transport". The organization appealed to the regional government.

      As explained by the tariff service, the change was caused by economic factors — projected inflation, rising fuel costs and increased pay for drivers.

      Previously these tariffs were not regulated by the state and were set independently by the carriers.

      Recall that from 1 November 2025 it is planned to raise the cost of travel on Nizhny Novgorod public transport for cashless payments. Currently, when paying for travel on a bus, electric bus, tram or trolleybus by bank card, 35 rubles are charged. Now they want to make it 40 rubles, as it currently is when paying in cash.
