More than 60 million rubles will be allocated for the organization of a winter skating rink in Nizhny Novgorod's 1 May Park. This follows from documents on the public procurement portal.

According to the published data, the city Directorate of Parks and Squares signed a contract for the installation and daily maintenance of the ice rink for the period from 2 December 2025 to 1 March 2026.

The contract price amounted to 63.5 million rubles. Of that, 14.6 million rubles are planned to be paid in 2025, and the remaining almost 49 million in 2026.

The procurement was conducted without posting a notice — with a sole supplier, on the basis of Part 5 of Article 4 of Federal Law No. 223‑FZ. The name of the contractor is not specified in the documents.

Recall that in summer the second stage of improvements in 1 May Park was completed.
