The logo of Nizhny Novgorod's first private football club has been published.

      The first private football club of Nizhny Novgorod, "Pobeda," presented an updated logo. The presentation took place on the team's official Telegram channel.

      "We updated our logo, bringing it in line with modern and legal standards. Now it is not just an emblem — it is a symbol of moving forward, ambition and the character of Nizhny Novgorod football," club representatives said.

      If previously the emblem depicted the Pobeda car with a football above it, the team's symbol is now a deer. The ball is placed between its antlers. The new logo is rendered in a red-and-black color scheme, as was the previous one.

      The new team will be based at Severny Stadium. The core of the squad will consist of young players from SShOR-8, Pari NN and other football academies of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      From December 1, the head coach position will be taken by Dzerzhinsk native Oleg Makeev, who worked within the Pari NN structures and headed Volna.

      Earlier the Nizhny Novgorod volleyball club carried out a rebranding. It is now called "Gorky," not ASK.

      During the off-season the hockey club "Torpedo" also updated its logo.
