      Nizhny Novgorod media outlets can apply for the All‑Russian public award "Talking about Victory," the organizers said at a press conference on October 14.

      The award is aimed at preserving historical memory about the heroes and events of the Great Patriotic War and the special military operation, counteracting the falsification of history and contemporary events by popularizing reliable knowledge and drawing the attention of the media community and youth audience to the creation of historical and patriotic content dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.

      The organizer of the competition is the All‑Russian public civic‑patriotic movement "Immortal Regiment of Russia" with the support of the FSUE "International News Agency 'Russia Today'," FSUE "Information Telegraph Agency of Russia (ITAR‑TASS)," ANO "TV‑Novosti," the Documentary Broadcasting Directorate of RT, as well as the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation.

      The competition is open to electronic, print and Internet media (television, Internet portals, newspapers, magazines) and individual authors and bloggers. Submissions are accepted for materials placed in the information space from January 1 to December 31, 2025, and that correspond to the competition’s themes.

      You can submit an application on the website: pravnuki-pobediteley.ru in the appropriate section when filling in data through a personal account.

      Materials are accepted in two nominations, "Video Content" and "Text Content," on the following topics: "Military Valor," "Labor Valor," "Historical Events," "Family History," "Immortal Regiment Campaign," "Genocide," "Continuity of Generations: the Great Patriotic War and the Special Military Operation," "Victory Day." Detailed information is posted on the website: pravnukipobediteley.ru.

      “We would like to once again emphasize the importance of informational work not only for commemorative dates. This is the principled position of all the organizers of the competition. That is why we give the opportunity to present your materials over such a wide time span. There are almost three months left to take part in the competition: to prepare the material that may, perhaps, still only be in your head,” said co‑chair of the Central Headquarters of the All‑Russian public movement "Immortal Regiment of Russia," first deputy chair of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans’ Affairs Elena Tsunaeva.

      The list of winners, who will be invited to the awards ceremony in Moscow in April 2026, will be published on the competition page no later than March 31, 2026.
