More than 80 reports for fare evasion were filed in Nizhny Novgorod in October.

      14 October 2025 17:58 Society: Inspections of public transport continue in Nizhny Novgorod. Thus, since the beginning of October controllers from the Center for the Development of Transport Systems (CDTS) have issued 86 citations to passengers who decided to ride without a ticket.

      In addition, six people were caught using other people's concessionary transport cards. One citation was also issued for a violation by a transport worker — for failing to issue a ticket to a passenger.

      During the specified period, violators paid 39 fines totaling 46,000 rubles. However, 27 people did not fulfill their obligations within the established time frame. As a result, the materials relating to them were forwarded to the Federal Bailiff Service for the forced collection of the debt.

      Earlier it was reported that seven-year contracts will be signed in Nizhny Novgorod for the operation of 11 city bus routes.
