Funding for the installation of individual heat substations (IHS) in Nizhny Novgorod will be cut by 277 million rubles in 2025. This became known during a meeting of the Duma's standing commission on municipal services on October 14, reports a correspondent of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod".
Deputy Nikolai Sataev asked whether this concerned the Meshcherskoye Ozero microdistrict. In response, acting director of the housing department Sergei Samsonov explained that the funds were intended, among other things, for facilities in the Kanavinsky and Moskovsky districts. According to him, these are regional funds.
"They have been planned for a later date, as I was told by the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services," Samsonov said. However, the exact timing of the funding postponement has not yet been determined.
Recall that in the spring the city administration reported that more than 300 million rubles from municipal and regional budgets were planned to be allocated in 2025 for the installation of IHS in the Kanavinsky, Moskovsky and Prioksky districts. Under the program, at least 42 heat substations were to be installed.
IHS are necessary for transitioning apartment buildings from open to closed hot water supply systems. This allows potable tap water, rather than technical water, to be used for hot water. This approach not only improves the quality of hot water but also reduces the costs of its production. This makes it possible for residents to save up to 500 rubles per month per apartment on utility bills.
