A group of 15 reservists called "BARS NN" has been formed in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The first group of reservists of "BARS NN" has been formed in the Nizhny Novgorod region. It includes 15 people. All signed contracts, the regional military commissariat reported.

      After training, the volunteers will be sent to guard important facilities within the region.

      Soon another 15 people will join the mobilization reserve. They are currently undergoing vetting and enlistment procedures.

      It is important that the territorial defenders receive military training and serve only within the region. This clause is included in the contract the reservists sign. During the contract period, reservists combine their primary civilian jobs with service, while receiving salaries and payments from the Ministry of Defense.

      Alexander, a resident of Nizhny Novgorod, said he joined the ranks of the territorial defenders because it is a unique opportunity to combine civilian work with military service.

      "It's important that I'll serve in my region, my job will be kept for me, as will my average salary. There will also be payments from the Ministry of Defense," emphasized the resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      "BARS NN" accepts applicants after they submit an application to the military commissariat, provide the necessary documents, pass selection at the military commissariat, the certification commission at the military unit, and sign a contract.       Earlier it was reported that recruitment is underway in the Nizhny Novgorod region for an elite unit of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
