In the second period the Nizhny Novgorod side surged ahead, scoring four goals in the opponent’s net — bringing the score to 3:5. The third period passed without any goals, resulting in a final score of 3:5 in favor of the Nizhny Novgorod team.
Torpedo will play its next game (6+) on October 14 — the Nizhny Novgorod team will face Minsk’s Dinamo on the road.
