The director of the Institute of Clinical Medicine at NNSU and cardiologist Natalya Grigoryeva told Nizhny Novgorod residents how to reduce the risk of thrombosis during air travel. Her words were relayed by editor-in-chief of MIA “Stacionar Press” Alexey Nikonov on his Telegram channel.
According to Natalya Grigoryeva, patients who suffered a heart attack watch their health closely for about a year, and then return to their usual, but not always correct, way of life.
At the same time, patients face the risk of recurrent thromboses. There are now a large number of medications that prevent thromboses, but for this one needs to consult a specialist. As noted, video clips with recommendations from cardiologists on reducing the risk of thrombosis on planes have already appeared in airports: passengers are advised to drink more water and to move more.
