On October 8, at the Federation Council, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Yuri Vorobyov presented an award to the team of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region for their significant contribution to the preparation and holding of the Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus, as well as for organizing key events of the Forum in Nizhny Novgorod.
At the initiative of the Federation Council, personal awards were given to deputy and head of the regional parliament’s administration Maxim Rebrov, head of the public relations and communications department Viktoriya Gorokhova, and head of the interparliamentary cooperation department Kirill Murygin.
"The Forum of Regions has become a large-scale platform for dialogue between the authorities and business for our countries. For 12 years it has united and brought the peoples of Russia and Belarus closer," emphasized Maxim Rebrov.
Recall that in June this year regional deputies, relevant specialists, experts, and leaders of youth organizations met for the twelfth time to discuss cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. As part of the business program, ten specialized sections were held. About 1,000 people participated in the event.
Within the Forum, a tripartite agreement on cooperation and interaction was signed at the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The document was concluded between the Association of Representative Bodies of Municipal Formations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region under the Legislative Assembly, the Brest Regional Council of Deputies, and the Brest Regional Association of Local Councils of Deputies of the Republic of Belarus.
