09 October 2025 15:15 Sports. A large-scale mural dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the Match TV channel has appeared in Nizhny Novgorod. The art object was placed on the facade of a nine-story building on Kerchenskaya Street, not far from the Sovcombank Arena stadium, the channel's Telegram channel reported.
The central figure of the composition is sports commentator Dmitry Guberniev, depicted at the head of a race. This image symbolizes moving forward, the channel's energy and the aspiration to new heights of sports broadcasting in Russia.
The mural covers more than 385 square meters. The work was created by Nizhny Novgorod artist Alexey Gurnyansky, known for his street art projects.
The project's implementation was made possible thanks to the support of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Governor Gleb Nikitin and the regional Ministry of Sports.
The regional head noted that both professional sports and mass physical culture are actively developing in the region. According to him, more than 60% of residents already lead an active lifestyle, and more than 1,200 sports and mass physical culture events are held annually in the region.
