Buses have sped up on Moskovskoye Highway thanks to the new dedicated lane.

      05 October 2025 09:57 Society On the stretch of Moskovskoye Highway from the tunnel of the Moskovsky railway station to the Kanavinskaya metro station, a new dedicated lane for public transport has appeared. This was reported by the Telegram channel "Nizhny Novgorod Transport." According to the source, after the introduction of the dedicated lane buses now cover this section in just five minutes during peak hours. Previously it took eight to ten minutes. In addition, the existing public transport lane in the area of the "Shayba" shopping center was widened. This improved boarding and alighting conditions for passengers, increasing their safety. Road re-marking and a slight narrowing of the carriageway also contributed to calmer vehicle traffic. Previously, on the same stretch but in the opposite direction, a dedicated lane had already been organized. Thanks to it, travel time was reduced from 15–20 minutes to 4–5 minutes. Recall that in 2025 three more dedicated lanes were created in Nizhny Novgorod. Earlier it was reported that around 25 km of new tram lines could appear in the Volga capital.
