Two people and a child were injured in a traffic accident involving a police car in Bor.

      A serious traffic accident involving a police vehicle occurred in the center of Bor, injuring two people and a child, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      According to preliminary data, at about three in the afternoon, at the intersection of Internatsionalnaya and Nakhimova streets, the service vehicle was driving with its flashing lights and siren on. At some point it collided with a Russian-made passenger car.

      As a result of the impact, the police car overturned. There were three people in the passenger car — the driver and two passengers, one of whom was a minor. All of them sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.

      Traffic police are working at the scene. They are currently determining the circumstances and causes of the accident.

      Earlier it was reported that two people died on Nizhny Novgorod roads on October 2.
