Two people died on Nizhny Novgorod roads in one day.

      Two fatal road accidents occurred in the Nizhny Novgorod Region on the eve of October 2. Details were reported by the press service of the regional traffic police.

      At 18:40 at the 532 km mark of the M-12 "Vostok" highway in the Sergachsky District a Kia driver failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with a Gazelle. The truck driver died at the scene. The driver and passengers of the foreign-made car required medical assistance.

      At 18:53 at the 9 km mark of the approach to Vyksa from the Vladimir–Murom–Arzamas highway a Nissan driver struck a pedestrian who was using an unregulated crossing. The injured person was then run over by a VAZ 21074 coming from the opposite direction. The pedestrian sustained injuries incompatible with life.

      Earlier it was reported that the horrific fatal accident in Sarov has turned into a criminal case.
