The Committee for Archival Affairs of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has joined Berkovich's bloc.

      The structure of the executive bodies of the Nizhny Novgorod region has undergone changes. This was reported by the regional government's press service.

      Governor Gleb Nikitin signed a decree adjusting the structure of the executive authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The Committee for Archives, which previously belonged to the bloc of Deputy Governor Alexander Pavlov, has been transferred to the bloc of Deputy Governor Oleg Berkovich.

      Oleg Berkovich noted that bringing the committee into his area of oversight will integrate its work with cultural institutions, libraries and museums.

      According to him, this decision will create a synergy among organizations whose activities are aimed at preserving historical memory and are directly related to the tasks of patriotic education.

      Recall that Pavlov took up the post of deputy head of the region at the end of September 2025. Previously, Petr Bannikov held this position; he now heads the Fund for National Unity. In addition, since September 2 Bannikov has served as Nikitin's advisor on a voluntary basis.
