      Residents of Nizhny Novgorod are still awaiting the return of tram route No. 22 in Avtozavod, which was suspended earlier in the summer. One social media user asked regional authorities when the route will resume service.

      Representatives of LLC "Environmental Projects" said repair crews were concentrated on another section. After completing work on the Malyishevo–Gnilitsy segment, specialists were sent to the "Sotsgorod-1" and "Sotsgorod-2" stretches, where tram track reconstruction began.

      The company clarified that the contractor has already begun preparing to dismantle the rails on the specified section.

      No exact date for the resumption of tram No. 22 has been announced yet. Information on this will be provided later.

      Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod authorities plan to build another tram line in Sormovo. It also became known that there are plans to lay tram tracks to Novinki.

      Also note that, as of September 2025, tram track repairs are ongoing on 14 streets in Nizhny Novgorod.
