      The public transport schedule in Nizhny Novgorod may not be displayed on the electronic screens of the "smart" stops due to technical reasons. This was reported by representatives of the Center for Transport Systems Development (CRTS) while answering residents' questions on social media.

      City residents noticed that arrival information for public transport is not always correctly published on the information panels. In some cases trams and buses do not appear on the screen at all.

      According to CRTS specialists, the cause of such glitches may be unstable mobile internet performance. When the cellular signal level drops, interruptions occur in the transmission of navigation information, and vehicles temporarily disappear from the map.

      To obtain up-to-date information on bus movements and to plan routes, CRTS recommends contacting their call center. There you can clarify the timetable and learn about possible delays.

      It is planned to install 14 "smart" stops on tram routes in Nizhny Novgorod.

      It was also reported that free Wi-Fi has started working at the "smart" stops in Nizhny Novgorod.
