When a profession is a mission: the teachers of Borsk Kindergarten No. 22 were thanked for years of dedication to their work.

      A ceremonial event dedicated to Educator’s Day and all preschool workers took place at MADOУ “Kindergarten No. 22” in the city of Bor — an action organized by activists of the regional branch of the “Young Guard of United Russia” together with the local branch of the Leninsky District of Nizhny Novgorod. In a warm, homelike atmosphere, activists gathered to thank those who, through their daily work, lay the moral and intellectual foundations for future generations.

      The highlight of the meeting was the honoring of the distinguished educator Irina Mochalova, whose total length of service is 53 years, including 47 years as the head of Kindergarten No. 22.

      The ceremony was opened by the leader of the regional branch of the “Young Guard,” advisor to the rector of NNSU named after Lobachevsky, Roman Zykov:

      “An educator is a profession of creation. It is here that the basis of personality is formed, the readiness to love the Motherland and serve society. It is important for us to recognize people who for decades give their souls to children; their experience and warmth are priceless. The ‘Young Guard’ is proud to be able to congratulate such people and support preschool institutions in their daily work.”

      “For the 47 years that I have worked at this kindergarten, it was necessary to build a simple and fundamental system — a rule by which we live: to love the children. Thanks to this rule we formed a team, and parents entrust us with the most precious. We regularly write cards and send packages to our soldiers in the SVO zone — the children prepare drawings and letters themselves, and this gives them a sense of involvement. Such small deeds teach them to be humane,” Irina Mochalova emphasized in her response.

      In a dialogue format, teachers shared the subtleties of the profession: what gives them the strength to work for decades, how to find an approach to each child, and how to pass on experience to younger colleagues. The Young Guard activists thanked the staff for continuity and organized the presentation of gifts from the regional branch — a token of attention that the teachers perceived as support for their professional path. One of the participants in the action, a young activist of the “Young Guard,” stressed:

      “The way relationships between educators are built in this kindergarten is striking — there are no formalities, there is deep respect and trust. It is precisely such an atmosphere that allows teachers to work with their hearts and give children their best,” emphasized the head of the local branch of the “Young Guard” of the Leninsky District, Dmitry Moiseev.

      It is especially worth noting that MADOУ “Kindergarten No. 22” is notable not only for its many years of pedagogical experience but also for the stability of its staff: traditions of continuity are maintained, there is a careful attitude toward each child’s family, and an active civic stance — the pupils regularly participate in local actions, and the kindergarten’s projects are supported by parents and local initiatives. Much in the life of MADOУ “Kindergarten No. 22” has become possible thanks to support programs of the United Russia party and joint work with regional and municipal bodies: with their participation, major repairs and updates to the play and educational infrastructure were carried out, modern equipment and developmental materials were purchased, and educational projects were implemented. In particular, all windows were replaced from wooden to plastic at a cost of 2 million rubles.
