Society In the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, the replacement of one of the key sections of the main heating pipeline has been completed. The work was carried out on Komsomolskaya Street as part of preparations for the heating season.

At the site, old heat supply and hot water supply pipelines were completely replaced with new energy-efficient ones. Heat and hot water from this pipeline are supplied to 193 apartment buildings and 25 social institutions. All work is being carried out on schedule under the daily supervision of the management of the resource-supplying organization and the head of the district.

“The management of En+ Teplo Volga has decided on an overhaul of the heat pipeline. This is the most effective approach to ensuring residents receive heating without incidents during the winter period,” said the deputy head of the city and head of the Avtozavodsky district administration, Alexander Nagin.

Teploseti (part of En+ Teplo Volga), as part of preparations for the heating season, conducted a large-scale repair campaign in the Avtozavodsky and Leninsky districts. Sections of heating pipelines were replaced, shut-off valves and thermal insulation were updated, and two boiler houses were modernized, where the equipment was completely renewed. To prevent emergency situations during the winter period, hydraulic tests were carried out on more than 460 kilometers of main and local networks.

“A large volume of repair work has been completed on the pipelines and heating networks. The work is carried out using modern technologies and materials that allow the service life of the replaced sections to be extended up to 50 years. We will be pleased to supply heat in the upcoming heating season to more than 400,000 residents of the Avtozavodsky and Leninsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod,” said Mikhail Yefimov, acting general director of En+ Teplo Volga, Nizhny Novgorod branch.
