"The Code of Your Success": Vladimir Yakuba shared his recipes for leadership with Nizhny Novgorod students

      The meeting took place as part of the implementation of the party project "World of Opportunities"

      A large-scale meeting of students with an international expert on personal growth, business coach, alumnus of the university and the first chairman of the Youth Parliament under the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Vladimir Yakuba, was held at Lobachevsky Nizhny Novgorod State University (NNSU). The event was organized by the regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Faculty of Economics of NNSU. More than 400 students and activists of the Young Guard of United Russia gathered in the assembly hall to discuss key issues of personal development, leadership and professional self-realization in Russia.

      The event was opened by the leader of the regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia in the Nizhny Novgorod Region and adviser to the rector of NNSU, Roman Zykov.

      "Today we are showing that Nizhny Novgorod is not only a city with a rich history, but also a center of future leaders. Our task is to help students find themselves and realize their potential here, in Russia. It is important that the knowledge and talents of young people work for the development of our country, and meetings with people who prove by their example the possibilities of growth inspire youth to move forward," he noted.

      Viktor Lunin, head of the regional public reception office of the chairman of the United Russia party, also addressed the students with a welcoming speech. He recalled that it was during his years working in the Legislative Assembly that Vladimir Yakuba headed the first composition of the Youth Parliament and already then proved himself to be a bright leader.

      "Vladimir studied at our faculty and demonstrated a thirst for knowledge, discipline and leadership qualities. It is important to us that such alumni return to the university to pass on their experience to the new generation," emphasized Yulia Plekhova, Director of the Institute of Economics, Head of the Department of Economics of Enterprises and Organizations at NNSU, Doctor of Economics, Professor.

      Vladimir Yakuba himself shared his experiences and projects, including international ones. He emphasized the importance of finding your "own code of success" and stressed that the main resource of any young person is the willingness to work and learn: "I always tell students: find yourself, ask questions and don't be afraid of mistakes. The most valuable thing is the energy you put into your ideas. It is this energy that allows you to build a team and implement a project."

      In the interactive part of the meeting, more than 20 students had the opportunity to ask the expert questions directly by coming up on stage. Topics included study and career development, working with people, creating and promoting one's own business. Student-entrepreneur Ramazan Garaev, who is interested in team management, asked how to learn to delegate tasks.

      "This is a key leadership skill. A leader must trust their team, see potential in people and distribute responsibilities correctly. Only in this way can you achieve great results, because a leader is not someone who does everything himself, but someone who is able to unite efforts," Vladimir Yakuba replied.

      At the end of the meeting, Vladimir presented students with books he authored for the most interesting questions, stressing that it is important for him to see in young people not just listeners, but true like-minded individuals.

      "The Code of Your Success" became not only a meeting with an expert but also a truly motivating event that showed: the youth of Nizhny Novgorod are eager for development, interested in new knowledge and want to build their future in Russia. A recording of the meeting will be available in podcast format so that even more students and young professionals can get answers to important questions for them. The United Russia party continues to create opportunities for dialogue between the younger generation and successful people whose stories inspire and prove that success is possible if you work, study and believe in yourself.
