Nizhny Novgorod Region saved nearly 200 million rubles in tenders in August.

      As a result of competitive procedures held in August 2025, the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region managed to save 202 million rubles of budget funds. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Economic Development and Investments.

      The organizer of the tenders was the state treasury institution "Order Placement Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." During August it conducted 101 procurement procedures totaling 4.4 billion rubles.

      The largest portion of the saved funds — 111 million rubles — went to the financial services sector, in particular the provision of credit resources. On average, four bids from potential suppliers were submitted for each successfully completed lot.

      From the beginning of 2025 through the end of August, total savings from all procurements amounted to 2.9 billion rubles. During this period the Order Placement Center organized 868 procedures totaling 57.8 billion rubles.

      As noted by the Ministry of Economy, competitive activity remains stable: an average of 4.2 bids are submitted per lot.

      Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod authorities saved almost 305 million rubles in July tenders.
