A Nizhny Novgorod feldsher broke her leg while washing the ceiling; an investigation has been launched.

      Incidents — The State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod region is investigating an accident that occurred on 18 September in the village of Molchanovo in the Bolsheboldinsky District.

      According to the supervisory agency’s press service, a midwife at the obstetric station was washing the ceiling while standing on a table. While trying to move onto a chair, the woman slipped — the surface was wet — and fell.

      As a result of the fall, the woman sustained a closed fracture of the femur. The labor inspectorate is establishing the circumstances of the incident.
