      A drunk reckless driver without a driver's license in a Porsche who caused an accident in central Nizhny Novgorod was given 10 days. This was reported by the press service of the regional Traffic Police.

      Recall, the young man came to the attention of traffic police officers because of dangerous driving. He did not respond to orders to stop and attempted to flee. While evading the pursuit, the violator drove at high speed, mounted the sidewalk, creating a threat to the life and health of other road users. As a result, at the intersection of Alekseevskaya and Piskunova streets the driver lost control and drove into a concrete barrier and flowerbeds.

      After his detention, it turned out that the driver was an 18-year-old local resident who did not have a driver's license. He admitted that he had taken the car from his parents without asking. In addition, an examination showed that the young man was intoxicated.

      Traffic inspectors drew up three administrative reports against him under Part 3 of Article 12.8, Part 2 of Article 12.25 and Article 12.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The vehicle was placed in a specialized impound lot.

      The magistrate judge sentenced the offender to 10 days of administrative arrest.

      Earlier it was reported that a 16-year-old teenager caused a fatal crash on the Fedorovsky Embankment.
