Specialists engaged in illegal advertising, known as traffers, are actively promoting prohibited projects that can harm users. The cyber police warned about this, reports the TV channel "360".
They bypass moderation systems, advertising fake courses, fraudulent earning schemes, sites with unlicensed software and malware. Traffers often work in tandem with scammers involved in carding (fraud with payment cards - ed. note) and cashing out funds.
Dangerous ads can be recognized by flashy headlines, overly enticing offers, the presence of bots, claims of limited product quantities, shortened links and domains in the .xyz, .top, .club and .biz zones.
Earlier, human rights advocate and retired judge Vladimir Komsolev gave advice on how not to become a dropper and how to protect your loved ones from this.
