Evgeny Lyulin handed over the keys to a new nine-seater Sobol to a large family from Dzerzhinsk.

      Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Evgeny Lyulin visited Dzerzhinsk on September 16 to hand over the keys to a new Sobol and household appliances to the large Suslov family.

      The large family is raising nine children – eight daughters and one son. In July this year a daughter, Eva, was born. Irina Suslova took up the baton of raising a large family from her own mother, who raised 16 children. In the 2000s their family was the largest in the region. Irina and Alexander Suslov’s eldest daughter, Daria, graduated from music school in piano and is now studying at the Dzerzhinsk Pedagogical College. The other children actively study English and are engaged in music and sports.

      “The new nine-seat Sobol will become a reliable helper for the family in solving daily tasks,” the speaker notes. Thanks to it, the parents will be able to take the children to school, music classes and sports clubs, make trips out of town or go shopping together. In addition to the car, Evgeny Lyulin brought the family other gifts, including a washing machine and a television.

      “Today I came to visit my good friends the Suslovs. It is gratifying that we were able to make their lives a little more comfortable and safer. Seeing their eyes light up with happiness is the best thanks. For a family raising nine wonderful children, a roomy family car is not a luxury but a necessity. That is why Governor Gleb Nikitin immediately supported the request to allocate one to the Suslov family. Many thanks to the head of the region and to the company specialists who modified the vehicle for passenger transport. The new acquisition will allow the family to solve many everyday tasks,” said Evgeny Lyulin.

      “Some 1,880 large families live in Dzerzhinsk, raising 6,116 children. These are good, strong families with real values and traditions. The city has a range of support measures for large families: monthly payments, education subsidies, and assistance for the school year. For us this is not just social policy but an investment in our future, which we are building today,” said the head of Dzerzhinsk, Mikhail Klinkov.
