OMK employees will be able to undergo cancer screening as part of "Health Day".

      United Metallurgical Company (OMK) continues to implement a large-scale program to preserve employees' health. One of the events was "Brain Health Day," during which employees could receive medical consultations and check their psychological and psychophysiological condition — levels of stress, fatigue, emotional burnout, and resilience to workload.

      "Brain Health Day" became part of the corporate project "Health Days," which the company conducts in a hybrid format. In-person events are organized at the Moscow office, while online lectures by leading Russian specialists are available to more than 38,000 employees of OMK enterprises in various regions.

      Head of Occupational Safety and Industrial Medicine at OMK and curator of the "OMK Health" program, Vasily Nisichenko, noted that regular consultations help to respond in a timely manner to changes in the body and prevent diseases. He emphasized that "Health Days" have been held since 2017 and include both in-person consultations and sports-information online marathons.

      Since the beginning of 2025, employees have already taken part in meetings dedicated to proper nutrition and functional health. Nutritionists and sports physicians helped to create individual diets and training plans.

      In the summer there was a sports challenge in which more than 800 employees from the company's plants participated. More than half of the participants reported that they increased their physical activity and began training 3–5 times a week.

      By the end of the year OMK plans to hold another "Health Day" dedicated to the prevention of oncological diseases. As part of the event, employees will be able to undergo cancer screening.
