In the Leninsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, a man accused of attempting to murder a local resident will stand trial.
The investigator of the investigative department for the Leninsky District of the city of Nizhny Novgorod of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region has completed the investigation of a criminal case against a 35-year-old man accused of committing an offense under Part 3 of Art. 30 and Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder).
According to the investigation, on the evening of June 23, 2025, near one of the buildings on Ilmenskaya Street in the Leninsky District of Nizhny Novgorod, a conflict occurred between the accused and a 40-year-old man who was riding a scooter. During the quarrel, the accused stabbed the man in the chest area. The victim was taken to a medical facility where he was promptly provided with the necessary medical care.
The investigation has gathered a sufficient evidentiary base, and the criminal case with the approved indictment has been forwarded to the court for consideration on the merits.
