Volunteer in the special military operation: "Russia has no equal, and we must defend its future"

      At the Nizhny Novgorod recruitment point for military service, residents from various regions of Russia sign contracts to defend their country in the SMO zone. Another group of volunteers in Nizhny Novgorod underwent a medical examination and briefing. Before deployment, everyone received additional gear that will help in carrying out combat tasks.

      "I decided to radically change my life and set an example for my son. I did not do conscript service at the time because I was obtaining a higher education. Now the time has come when I am ready to repay my debt to the Motherland. I think that, seeing me, my son will definitely go to serve in the Armed Forces of Russia," said a volunteer from Arkhangelsk.

      A volunteer from Chelyabinsk has experience of conscript service in the naval infantry and holds the sports rank of Candidate for Master of Sport. Before signing the contract he worked at a defense plant.

      "With all my might I want to help my nephew and friends who are serving in the special operation to finish what they started. I am sure my skills and abilities will be useful 'behind the ribbon.' I think I will become a UAV operator, since I already had experience in the civilian sector. Russia has no equal, and we must defend its future. I am confident that we will achieve victory!" he emphasized.

      It should be recalled that the state provides defenders of the Motherland with decent financial support and assists their families. Those who sign a contract and go to the SMO zone are issued certificates granting 10 sotkas of land in the Nizhny Novgorod region (10 sotkas = 1,000 m²). The certificate can be used two years after its issuance.

      In addition, in the Nizhny Novgorod region there is a mechanism for concluding military social contracts, which additionally guarantee the serviceman's family 10,000 rubles per month for each child, benefits for utility payments, preschool service privileges and other types of support. Individual support for the servicemember's family is also provided.

      The dispatch of volunteers to their place of service and the issuance of additional gear is ensured by the Coordination Center for the Support of Servicemen, the Mobilized and their Families, operating on the basis of the House of National Unity.
