Dmitry Medvedev: candidates from "United Russia" managed to achieve impressive results in the 2025 elections.

      PoliticsResults The results of the Single Voting Day are the product of large-scale work that everyone involved in this campaign carried out over months: voting took place in 81 regions, and in total the outcomes determined the fate of more than 45,000 vacant mandates and positions, Dmitry Medvedev noted during a video conference with the regions on the preliminary results of Single Voting Day 2025.

      “Our candidates performed very, very well. According to the information we currently have, the number of violations is minimal,” he said.

      The party chairman noted the increase in campaign participants who have gone through the crucible of the special military operation.

      “Our comrades, I am sure, also performed with dignity,” he emphasized.

      Dmitry Medvedev added that the results of the 2025 campaign show that United Russia has serious resources ahead of the 2026 State Duma elections.

      “These are the most important elections in which the party is taking part. Naturally, United Russia will not only participate in them, but also expects a very high result. We will, of course, fight for victory, as always,” the party chairman said.

      According to preliminary results of Single Voting Day 2025, the situation is favorable for United Russia: the campaign was conducted legitimately and the elections were organized, said the Secretary of the party’s General Council, Vladimir Yakushev.

      “During the three days of voting, United Russia’s Situation Center operated and received reports of possible violations. There were not that many. They were mostly technical in nature,” he said.

      He added that upon the completion of Single Voting Day 2025 it is necessary to immediately begin preparing for the next Single Voting Day.

      “In 2026 we have key elections to the State Duma, as well as a very large number of campaigns for elections to legislative bodies, to administrative centers, and elections for top officials. In other words, as of tomorrow we will already be entering a serious electoral campaign. There will be a lot to do,” he said.

      At the same time, work must be conducted at a high organizational level with participants of the special military operation who won elections as United Russia candidates — this task was set for the party by the Head of State.

      How the elections went in the Nizhny Novgorod region was reported by Dmitry Filipenko, head of United Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod regional executive committee.

      “In the Nizhny Novgorod region the elections were held in a calm, routine mode. The party organized the work of a Situation Center in the region, which was based at the Public Support Headquarters of United Russia. Independent observers worked throughout all three days of voting. During this time, no violations were recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Speaking in general about the atmosphere at polling stations, it can be characterized as positive. Residents of Nizhny Novgorod took part in the elections with enthusiasm, often coming to vote with their whole families. United Russia candidates showed good results. For example, the new city Duma will be composed of approximately 70% United Russia deputies,” Dmitry Filipenko said.

      Dmitry Medvedev stressed that elections are being held, in effect, in combat conditions not only in border regions where there is a line of contact or which are located fairly close to it, but practically across the entire country. He thanked all citizens of the country who, despite difficulties, show a desire to participate in the electoral campaign: who come to polling stations or vote remotely, and he also thanked the regional teams of United Russia for preparing the 2025 campaign.

      “Power begins from below — from the municipal level, the regional level, the heads of the subjects of the Federation. If power begins to crumble, there will be trouble. Our country went through this, especially in the 1990s, when the authority of the state was extremely low. And the fact that we now have such results is the outcome of the great work that all of you carry out, the result of trust in the Head of our State, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and the course that United Russia pursues. This is something we must definitely preserve for the future. Let us prepare for a lot of work. Prepare to fulfill the obligations the party took upon itself during these elections. And prepare for the 2026 elections. I wish you success and all the best. We will be together and we will win,” concluded the Chairman of United Russia.

      Recall that on Single Voting Day elections at various levels were held in 81 regions of the Russian Federation. Direct elections of the heads of 20 regions took place, as well as elections of deputies to 11 regional parliaments and 25 councils of administrative centers — at these levels 1,419 mandates were filled. Electoral campaigns were also held for local self-government bodies.

      United Russia opened federal and regional Situation Centers to monitor the elections across the country. The party also prepared 60,000 observers. Overall, more than 49,000 precinct election commissions and more than 1,600 territorial election commissions were engaged nationwide.
