Following a meeting of the regional headquarters at which approaches and target settings for increasing labor productivity in the housing and communal services sector were discussed, six more housing and utilities enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast will become participants in the federal "Labor Productivity" project. This was reported by Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast Yegor Polyakov on his Telegram channel.
The new participants will include organizations such as Arzamas Vodokanal LLC, Dzerzhinsk Vodokanal JSC, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Teplovodokanal" (Zavolzhye) and other companies operating in the energy and water supply sectors.
The deputy governor noted that Nizhny Novgorod Oblast has actively joined the implementation of the "Efficient and Competitive Economy" national project, under which it is planned to achieve a 21% increase in labor productivity in the country's economy by 2030 compared with 2023. At the governor's instruction, the region has already begun developing sectoral programs to increase labor productivity. These programs will be formulated by the end of the year across all key sectors of the economy.
Any enterprise in a basic non-raw-material sector can become a participant in the project if its annual revenue exceeds 400 million rubles. To do so, it must submit an application on the Federal Competence Center's website. Participation in the program is free of charge, whereas similar consulting services on the market cost about 4 million rubles.
Earlier it was reported that Russia's Ministry of Energy approved Nizhny Novgorod's heat supply scheme for 2026.
