Roszdravnadzor shut down an illegal alcohol supplier.

      The Nizhny Novgorod branch of Roszdravnadzor has revoked by court the license of a company that was illegally trading medical alcohol. This was reported by the agency’s deputy head Dmitry Baranov on the air of “Volga24.”

      It is reported that 32 tonnes of alcohol were sold from a warehouse in the Kanavinsky district to organizations not connected with medicine. The supplies may have been delivered to illegal dispensing outlets and cafes.

      The movement of the alcohol was not recorded in the mandatory federal monitoring system. When the violation was uncovered, the owners attempted to enter the data into the system retroactively.

      This action prompted an unscheduled inspection.

      The court upheld Roszdravnadzor’s lawsuit and revoked the company’s license. The former warehouse owner is attempting to challenge this decision in court.

      Recall that the new Dispensary Observation Center of the NII-SKKB named after Korolev has admitted its first patients.
