The Ministry of Construction issued a permit to build a sports and recreation complex on Rodionova Street.

      The Ministry of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has issued a permit to build a physical culture and wellness complex (FOK) in the Nizhegorodsky District on Rodionova Street, next to building No. 187. This was reported on the ministry’s website.

      The project is being implemented by the company LLC "Second Nizhny Novgorod Sports Infrastructure." The permit was issued on July 4.

      Earlier, the regional Ministry of Sport reported that work was underway to conclude a contract with the general contractor. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025.

      The total cost of the facility, according to the state examination, will amount to 1.2 billion rubles. Construction financing is being provided from the federal and regional budgets, as well as by funds from the investor-concessionaire.

      Note that another FOK is still being built in Nizhny Novgorod — on Korabelostroiteley Avenue in the Sormovsky District. As of the end of July, the construction readiness of that facility was 20%.

      It was also reported that the investor wants to build a sports complex in Bor for 200 million rubles.
