      In Nizhny Novgorod, the construction of a hotel complex at 18 Piskunova Street has been approved. The regional Ministry of Construction issued the permit for the work on July 18. This is reported on the ministry’s website.

      The project will be implemented by JSC "Estate Invest." The building is planned to be constructed in the historic center of the city. Its total area will exceed 14,000 square meters; it will be of varying heights: from five to eight stories. The architectural and urban-planning design of the building was approved in July, and in July the construction project received a positive expert opinion.

      In addition, JSC "Estate Invest" will build two hotels in the area of Minin and Pozharsky Square: at 18 Piskunova Street and on the site of the former "Knizhny Novgorod" store. To implement the second project, a complex of buildings of the former regional blood center named after N.Ya. Klimova was demolished.

      Earlier it was reported that a hotel with a Russian cuisine restaurant will open in Vetluga.
