      The State Labor Inspectorate has initiated a repeat unscheduled inspection of a construction company from Nizhny Novgorod. The basis for this was the failure to comply with orders to pay debts owed to employees.

      Nizhny Novgorod-based LLC "MKT-NN" did not settle accounts with its workers for the period from November to December 2024. The total wage arrears amounted to more than 21 million rubles. Two hundred and forty people remained unpaid, including those who have already left the company.

      Following the previous inspection, inspectors issued an order requiring the company's management to remedy violations of labor legislation and repay the debt. However, payments were not made within the established deadline.

      In light of this, the supervisory authority decided to carry out an additional inspection. In addition, the possibility of holding the employer administratively liable is being considered.

      Earlier it was reported that the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Bastrykin, took an interest in wage arrears at the Lindovskaya poultry farm.
