Customers of Beeline's "Plan B" will be able to exchange gigabytes for gold.

      Society. Beeline has launched for users of its youth platform "Plan B" an exchange of unused internet gigabytes for "Gold." This is not about a real precious metal but about a virtual currency that can be cashed out as bonus rubles at a rate equivalent to the price of gold to the ruble set by the Central Bank of Russia ("Gold").

      One gigabyte is equal to 1 mg of Gold. The exchange takes place in a mini-app on Telegram: first GBs are exchanged for "Gold," and then for bonus rubles. The exchange is available when there are GBs remaining beyond the plan allowance. New customers who signed up from 26 August 2025 receive an additional 50 GB, which are available for exchange into Gold*. The promotion runs until 15 January 2026.

      The amount of credited bonuses depends not only on the volume of gigabytes but also on the date the application for Gold exchange is submitted. Bonus rubles will be calculated using the Central Bank's equivalent rate on the day the application is submitted. They can be used to pay for communications services. Thus, the customer can influence the amount they receive.

      The launch of the promotion reflects Beeline's strategy to develop additional digital services and create tangible benefits for customers. The company seeks new formats that offer subscribers not only convenient communication solutions but also additional value. Gold is a symbol of stability, universal value and a growing trend, and Beeline's bright yellow-gold visual identity makes the offer organic and recognizable.
