Nizhny Novgorod authorities will buy eight more apartments for orphans.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, plans are underway to purchase additional apartments to provide housing for orphaned children. This was reported by the state budgetary institution "Nizhegorodstroyzakazchik", which posted the relevant information on the public procurement portal.

      According to the published documentation, the electronic auction envisages the purchase of eight residential units. Three of them must cost at least 5 million rubles each, the remaining five not less than 4.3 million rubles. The area of each residential unit must be at least 30 square meters.

      Under the terms of the contract, all apartments must be fit for habitation at the time of transfer and comply with the sanitary and technical standards established by the legislation of the Russian Federation. In addition, the housing must be located on a well-maintained site and not require repairs.

      Earlier it was reported that another nine apartments for orphans will be purchased in Nizhny Novgorod. It was also reported that in 2025 the authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region have already acquired about 400 apartments for orphans.
