      The storm sewer system project for the Gordeevsky neighborhood in Nizhny Novgorod once again failed the state expert review. This is stated in materials posted on the Unified State Register of Conclusions.

      According to the published data, the negative conclusion was issued by the regional institution "Department of State Expertise of Project Documentation and Results of Engineering Surveys." The document is dated September 3, 2025.

      Recall that as early as March 2023 the authorities of Nizhny Novgorod reported the start of preparing cost estimate documentation for the design of the storm sewer in the Gordeevsky neighborhood.

      It was also reported that more than 167 million rubles were allocated to develop a scheme for the stormwater drainage network in Nizhny Novgorod for 2026–2036. The scheme for constructing the storm drains in the regional center is promised to be approved by the end of the year.
