      On the evening of September 3, a fatal road traffic accident occurred in the Luch settlement of Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the regional traffic police.

      At around 19:30, a 22-year-old driver of a VAZ-21124, who did not have the right to operate a vehicle, struck a pedestrian.

      The woman, estimated to be 60–65 years old, was crossing the roadway within sight of a pedestrian crossing. She died at the scene from her injuries.

      According to the traffic police, the circumstances of the incident are being established.

      Earlier it was reported that a car with five teenagers overturned in Nizhny Novgorod.
