      In the Semenovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, repair work on the Belasovka–Kerzhenets road was completed ahead of schedule. The work was carried out under the national project "Infrastructure for Life," the Main Directorate for Highways of the region reported.

      The contractor finished the work earlier than planned. The renovated stretch of road extended approximately 1.5 kilometers. As part of the repairs a new road surface was laid, the shoulders were reinforced, and on the most challenging sections the subsoil was additionally strengthened to improve the route's stability and durability.

      10.5 million rubles were allocated to the project. Thanks to the repairs, transport access to the feldsher-obstetric station and to the kindergarten served by this road has improved.

      Recall that the national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. It aims to create modern infrastructure for citizens and includes 11 federal projects, among them the development of road construction, housing and utilities, public transport, and improving road safety.

      Earlier it was reported that road repairs under the national project had been completed in the Pavlovsky municipal district.
