      This summer 143,000 people used the funicular in the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, pravda-nn.ru reports, citing the administrative department of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      It is noted that the highest passenger flow occurred during the long June holidays.

      Since the facility's launch, its number of visitors has approached 395,000 people. Over the entire period of operation, revenue from transportation has exceeded 90 million rubles.

      Recall that the funicular was officially opened on 15 September 2024. It connects People's Unity Square and Rozhdestvenskaya Street with the Kremlin grounds.

      The funicular operates year-round. Since 1 July 2025, the cost of a one-way trip has been 350 rubles.
