This was reported by the supervisory agency’s press service. According to official information, the incident occurred on the evening of August 29, 2025. According to the victim, a 28-year-old employee of the Magnit retail chain, an unknown assailant attacked him during his shift and struck him in the face and head. The man sought medical help on his own, telling doctors that he is employed by JSC Tander, but he did not specify the exact location of the incident. Medical staff diagnosed him with a closed head injury in the form of a concussion, as well as contusions of the soft tissues of the head and lower jaw. According to Ilya Moshes, the chief state labor inspector for Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, a verification of the information received is currently underway. “Cooperation with the competent authorities has been organized, and the circumstances of the incident and the existence of employment relations are being established,” he said. A medical report, which will determine the severity of the injuries, is also expected. Moshes reminded that in the event of a serious accident the employer is required to notify of the incident within 24 hours in the prescribed manner.
